Krushervision at Warped Tour for Keep-A-Breast! 07.15.10 The Keep-A-Breast foundation, known as much for their artist-decorated plaster casts of women's upper bodies as for their efforts in promoting breast cancer awareness, has honored me with an invitation to spend a day at their tent on the Vans Warped Tour and paint a cast live! The date will be Thursday, July 29, at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Look for the black-and-white-striped "Girlz Garage" tent, where I will be doing my part to give back to those boobies that have done so much for me! I recently did a cartoon portrait for Austin, TX-based burlesque superstar Coco Lectric, who I met last month at the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend in Las Vegas. She's performing in New Orleans on July 19 & 20 at the House of Blues with none other than Dita Von Teese and NOLA's own Perle Noire! I will be donating at least two paintings to the Hell's Belles Car Club Pinewood Derby and Silent Art Auction at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco this September -- more on that later. There's a load of other projects in the works too -- I'm batting around ideas with a number of folks in the burlesque scene about stuff like live acts, new cartoon series, animation, contests, and who knows what else. And while I'm working on all this, make sure you come see me down at Oshkosh Tattoo & Good Girl Piercing for some new ink! Check out our all-new website and our new t-shirts, available this week! Call us at 920-230-6611 to make an appointment, or stop in and talk to me about your ideas!

Dirty Show 11, BPM 11, BHOF 2010 What else? Bachelor Pad Magazine #11 is out NOW! Angela Ryan graces this month's cover and centerfold, and there's the reliable bounty of booze, babes, and burly-Q packed within, including my latest cartoon, of course! Please order yourself a copy -- better yet, a subscription, and a bunch of back issues, as well! The Boston Burlesque Expo is happening April 2-4 in Cambridge, MA, and although I have regretfully bowed out of attending, Tailfeather Trapeze is still being used as the main promotional imagery for the festival, so I will be there in spirit! The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend has finally been announced for June 3-6, 2010 at The Plaza in Las Vegas. Krushervision will once again be a part of the Burlesque Bazaar, selling prints, sketchbooks, and what-have-you. I'm looking forward to seeing all the new friends I made last year again, and meeting lots more, so make sure you stop by and say hey! Finally, those $1 markups at the Krush-O-Mart are pretty much permanent, as you may have noticed since my so-called "Cyber Monday" sale still seems to be going on. Snatch up some t-shirts and stuff while you still can! Once my new home studio is put together and functional, I'll be getting back to work on new art and projects. To anyone who may be waiting for work from me, I apologize for being out of commission for so long and I really appreciate your patience. Krushervision is on the way back to being productive and will be better than ever before too long! Keep in touch!

BHOF09; Krushervision Direct coming!
Other high points: - The Travel Channel was there shooting footage for an upcoming special called "Extreme Competitions," and filmed in the vendor room, including the Krushervision booth, over my shoulder as I was sketching a pinup girl, and shot a number of interviews right in front of my booth. I'm sure not much of this footage will show up on the final program, but keep an eye out for it! - EL-VEZ!!! Anyway, mega thanks and hello and stuff to the people we met, who bought my stuff or just chatted with us, hung out with us, and made it all happen...the one and only Java of course, Roxi D'lite, La Divina and James, Wild Card Kitty, Betty Sioux Tailor, Kira von Sutra, Michelle L'amour and Franky Vivid, Diamond Minx, Satan's Angel, Immodesty Blaize, Mig, Chris Beyond, Nicollette Daly, Tanya Cheex, Scooter Harris, Red Snapper, Vanessa and Melissa from Retro Diva, the dude who plays Ringo in the Beatles show but I forgot his name, and about a bajillion more. Thanks to the BHOF for making us all a part of this event, and we will definitely be back next year!
And in further developments, I have finally gotten things set up for some online ordering of products directly from Krushervision. This will include all the limited-edition t-shirts, new pins, signed copies of the Live Nude Art! sketchbook (standard copies will be available soon from other online outlets), tattoo flash, and of course, art prints and original art. I'm working on a new shopping page for all this, which will be called -- duh -- Krushervision Direct! Keep your eyes peeled for it here, especially those of you who wanted to buy prints at BHOF but didn't know how to get them into your luggage without crushing them (next year I'll remember to bring cardboard backers).
